Class code 2589 is used for employees that work for a store that provides dry cleaning and laundry services to customers. This would include retail associates (such as counter staff, laundering technicians, and those responsible for dry cleaning duties), delivery drivers, and also route supervisors. Generally, clothing is dropped off and left by the customer to be either laundered or dry cleaned but pick up and/or delivery services may also be offered, depending on the business.

Exclusions to this class code would be laundromats that are self-service, or retail locations that do not offer both laundry and dry cleaning services within the same location. Towel supply companies whose primary job duties are to collect, transport, and distribute linens would also be excluded.
