This classification would be inclusive of traditional inside employees, as well as those working remotely and in the field. Job positions that are commonly known in this class code would include lighting, control panel, camera, and boom microphone operators, scriptwriters, announcers, engineers, technicians, musicians and other entertainers, clerical employees, drivers, directors, sound crews, stagehands, and set carpenters. Because of the large scope of this classification, job duties will vary greatly from engineers who inspect transmitters to those who develop the negatives of film work. Others included within class code 7610 would be anyone working on a motion picture production, including animated pictures.

Exclusions to this classification would be employees of television cable companies who are not engaging in the broadcasting of programs.
