Class Code 9154 Rates & Quotes

Theater NOC

Class code 9154 is used for employees that work in a theatre, not otherwise classified. This would typically be those workers whose functions are not entertainment in nature, such as managers, security workers, stagehands, box office employees, motion picture operators, refreshment stand employees, cashiers, or ushers. Businesses who qualify for this classification may be “traditional” permanent theatre locations or drive-in theaters, as well as traveling theater production companies. Job responsibilities may include (but are not limited to) such things as assisting customers, selling tickets, cleaning, running a booth or cash register, or engaging in the preparation, repair, or maintenance of the many components required for the show.

While this is a NOC classification and includes a variety of employees, some commonly related work that is excluded would be athletic stadium employees, players, entertainers, or musicians of a theater, and anyone employed by an amusement park.
