Class code 0037 is used for employees that work (or drive for) a farm who uses all of its acreage to grow crops such as: alfalfa, barley, beans, beets, cantaloupes, clover, corn, dill, garlic, grain, grass seed, hay, melons, millet, mint, mustard, oats, onions, peas (green and dry), peppermint, pineapples, potatoes, pumpkins, rice, rye, squash, sugarcane, timothy, tobacco, watermelons, and wheat. As a general rule, the types of farms that generally employ workers in this class code are characterized by long growing seasons, with harvest happening once the crop reaches maturity.

While sod growing and harvesting can be included in this classification, sod dealers and installers would be excluded. In addition, NOC jobs that are not otherwise classified including moss gathering, cotton picking, peppermint distilling by farmers, corn detasselling, alfalfa dehydration by farmers, grazing land maintenance, and miscellaneous spice growing can be included as well.
