Class code 2835 is used for employees that do brush or broom assembly work. This classification applies only to assembling parts together and excludes any and all manufacture of these parts. Various types and styles of mop, broom, and brush parts made with materials like metal, plastic, wood, or wire are included within class code 2835. Hand tools may be used as well as any accompanying operations like cutting, sewing, or reaming.

Any operations that require woodworking machines would be beyond the scope of this classification and would be excluded. In addition, no activities considered to be manufacture related are allowed, such as sawing, molding, or turning of backs or handles.
