Class code 2836 is used for employees that work within a manufacturing facility that produces brush, broom, or mop related products. Job duties within the scope of this classification include such things as molding, sawing, planing, turning, shaping, drilling, punching, riveting, assembling, and sewing materials and parts. Materials used vary greatly, but usually include some combination of plastic, wood, metal, or wire.

This class code is reserved for manufacturing work only, and would not include the assembly of brushes, brooms, mops, or related products. While some woodwork may be required in the course of broom manufacturing, major carpentry work and woodenware manufacturing should be classified separately.
