Class code 3865 is used for employees that work within a facility that manufactures or assembles bicycles, wheelchairs, or baby carriages. Raw materials, received from others, will vary greatly from product to product but may include wood, sheet metal or steel, reed, or fiber. For all types of products, this code would be used to cover employees working in any area of woodworking, metal working, upholstery, assembly, inspection, or packaging. Employees may engage in activities such as receiving raw materials, cutting, bending, machining, fabricating, assembling, and attaching parts. If batteries, electrical motors, controls, or other components are required, they must be manufactured by others.

Traditional wheelchairs are included, as well as the manufacturing of three-wheeled electronically propelled tricycles designed especially for those with mobility limitations.
