Class code 7380 is used for employees that are in the commercial driving profession, not otherwise classified. Jobs within the scope of this classification include positions like chauffeurs, garage employees, delivery drivers, driver’s helpers, mobile food vendors, bookmobile drivers, and messengers. Jobs may be performed using a variety of commercial vehicles, public transportation systems, hand trucks and may also include those who use a bicycle. Couriers and their assistants whose primary job function is to deliver parcels, packages, and mail belonging to the insured would also be included within the scope of this classification. In addition, school bus drivers employed by school districts who operate their own buses would also qualify.

Exclusions to this class code with similar operations would be anyone who is employed to provide transportation services to the public, dispatchers, ambulance drivers, those in the trucking classification, pilot car employees who remove obstacles or debris, and drivers who transport the structure of trailers, dollies, bearings, etc.
