Plumbing Supplies Dealer

Class code 8111 is used for employees that work for a dealer which sells plumbers’ supplies, including drivers. This would include both retail and wholesale dealers whose primary merchandise is related to gas, steam, or hot water equipment and other various functions of the plumbing trade. Examples of products sold under this classification would be piping (including steel, cast iron, plastic, and copper), pipe fittings (including elbows, tees, caps, plugs, nipples, etc), residential pumps, pipe clamps, gaskets, flux, washers, screws, nuts, bolts, various plumbers’ tools, faucets, bathtubs, commodes, stoves, hot water heaters, wash basins, shower stalls and fixtures, domestic laundry equipment, and hot water or steam heating equipment complete with furnace piping and radiators.

Exclusions to class code 8111 would be any operation that manufactures plumbing supplies or tools or those selling merchandise not related to the plumbing trade.
